WTCC Driver Rob Huff Is UK’s First Camaro Customer
The new Chevrolet Camaro has finally arrived in UK, with prices starting from £34,995 for the coupe and from £40,025 for the convertible. Power comes from a 6.2 litre V8 engine with 432 hp and it is not known will we see the top of the range Camaro ZL1 here.
The first to take delivery of the UK-spec Camaro is World Touring Car driver Rob Huff, who took delivery of the car from main dealer Cambridge Chevrolet, close to his home on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border.
“This is a dream come true,” said Huff, who is now in his eighth season driving in the WTCC for Chevrolet. “I’ve wanted a Camaro ever since I first saw the concept car four years ago. To finally get behind the wheel of my own car, in my own personalised colour scheme, is one of the best days of my life.”
Huff chose his Camaro Coupe in Inferno Orange, with black body stripes.
As well as Cambridge, The Camaro is available from five UK dealers – Cambridge Chevrolet, Toomey Motors in Basildon, Phoenix Wimbledon, SERE Belfast, Belmont Aberdeen and WH Brand in Whaplode Drove, Lincolnshire.
