Watch Sergio "Checo" Perez test drive the McLaren P1 at the Top Gear test track

McLaren Formula One driver Sergio “Checo” Perez, recently did few laps in the new McLaren P1 supercar around the famous Top Gear test track at the Dunsfold Aerodrome in England.

The P1 in the video has a full-body camouflage, which does not make it less awesome when compared to the undisguised production ready model, that we saw earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show.

The successor to the iconic F1 is powered by a 3.8-litre V8 twin-turbo with 727bhp and 720Nm of torque, which can work together with the electric motor, that produces another 176bhp and 260Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The P1 will be limited to just 375 units, with pricing to start from £866,000.
