Watch Chris Harris drive the very limited Jaguar XKR-S GT [video]

Chris drive recently had the chance to drive the limited edition Jaguar XKR-S GT, which was initially limited to just 30 units for the North American market and then expanded to ten more units for the UK market with each car priced at £135,000.

The XKR-S GT is the fastest street legal Jaguar ever to lap the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit with a time of 7 minutes and 40 seconds.

The XKR-S GT is evolved from the XKR-S coupe and is powered by a 542bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine linked to a six-speed automatic, enabling it to hit 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 186mph.

The XKR-S GT features a carbon fibre front splitter, dive-planes, huge rear wing, bespoke suspension and new brakes.

It also has a wider front tack by 52mm compared to the standard XKR-S and the steering rack is from the F-TYPE, with a correspondingly faster ratio and retuned steering valve.
