Watch Bentley Bentayga prototype go off-road [video]

Bentley Bentayga is engineered to be the most luxurious and also fastest SUV when it goes on sale next year.

The big luxury SUV has already been seen testing at various locations, including the extreme Nürburgring and now we get to see one of the prototypes going off-road in an official video.

Obviously most customers will ever take their Bentayga off-road or to the nearby race track, but the goal with such testing is to make sure the vehicle is well tested and ready for different environments and driving habits.

The prototype is still heavily covered with cladding, but you do get a good overview of its proportions and of course its all-wheel drive system.

There are reportedly over 4000 interested customers lined up with prices expected to start from £130k.

Engine line-up will include a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine as well as a new recently introduced twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 TSI with 600bhp and 663 lb-ft of torque. A plug-in hybrid variant will follow in 2017.
