Watch and hear the 400 horsepower Volkswagen Golf R 400 concept

Volkswagen Golf R 400 concept is one of the most exciting concepts we have seen this year. What makes it even more exciting is that it won’t remain a concept, but is soon turned into an actual road car that reportedly produces even more power than the concept, which packed 400 hp (395bhp) from a 2.0-litre turbo petrol.

The production version will come with a DSG and the same all-wheel drive you find in the standard Golf R along with an electronic diff locks.

Volkswagen has not released any of the videos of the hot Golf, but as we can see the concept is fully functioning and was recently spotted in Vienna. The exhaust note is beautiful for a 2.0-litre turbo. Looking forward to seeing the production model.
