Volvo has released a short teaser video for the upcoming concept that is described as “An imminent transformation is underway.”

The concept car is most likely called “C Coupe” as we can see from a quick look a the rear. The front has an updated version of Volvo’s signature grille and the side shows a stylish greenhouse.

In the video Volvo Chief Designer Thomas Ingenlath says the “vanilla days are over”, saying previous Volvo designs were “nice but not iconic or cutting edge.”

Volvo will reveal the concept already this Thursday on August 29th ahead of its public debut at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Check back soon to see is this new concept iconic or not.
