Video: London’s new double-decker bus unveiled

Mayor of London Boris Johnson unveiled the life-size mock-up of the modern day double-decker bus at the London Transport Museum’s depot at Acton on Thursday. Modeled after the original Routemaster, the new double-decker bus will be the future of London’s public transportation.

First five production busies will enter service in 2012, just in time for the London Olympic games. New double-decker features an open platform in the rear marking the return of the traditional hop-on-hop-off service.
