Video: Jay Leno drives the Jaguar C-X75 concept
American talk show host, Jay Leno is known for his passion about cars and it is not surprising when he gets to drive cars, that most motoring journalists can’t get their hands on.
Recently Mr. Leno got a chance to drive the new Jaguar C-X75 concept, that debuted at this year’s Paris Motor Show. The C-X75 gets its power from four electric motors with a combined output of 778bhp and 1180 lb-ft of torque.
Numbers are impressive- 0-62 mph in 4.3 seconds, 0-100 mph in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. The electric only range is 68 miles, that can be extended to 560 miles with the help of two small turbine engines that generate extra power.
After the Paris show, Jaguar said it has no plans to take this supercar concept into production, but the latest information is that they are studying the production feasibility of what would become the X-75.
