Vauxhall has unveiled a new updated Astra GTC, which is now available with a turbocharged 197bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, taking it from 0-60mph in 7.3 seconds while the top speed is 143mph, making it the fastest non-VXR model in the Astra range.

The Astra GTC range also gets an optional Intellink infotainment system, which features satellite navigation, voice control, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, picture viewer and Gracenote album art, all via its high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen display.

The Astra GTC is available to order from £20,995 with first deliveries in spring.
