Trident-Tested Partners in Paris
Dateline 17th November 2010 and two sexy brands are at play. At the Motor Village, Paris, the Fiat Group’s brand point on the Champs Elysses, motor mogul Maserati and coutourier Paco Rabanne came together for an outstanding VIP evening.
At the door, the brand new Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale was joined by a Maserati Trofeo Race Car, while inside, more organic bodies modelled seminal Paco Robanne dresses, including the ‘aluminium disc’ dress made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1967 movie ‘Two for the Road’. More Maserati metal was there to act as a backdrop, including the sensational GranCabrio, the GranTurismo S MC Sport Line and the Awards Edition Quattroporte Sport GTS. And age before beauty was represented by a 1955 330S, one of the company’s most iconic race cars.
The glitterati were out in force. ‘Casino Royale’ Bond girl Caterina Murino was present, with her partner, French rugby player, Pierre Rabadan. Hollywood’s Tara Reid was joined by TV personalities Alexandra Golovanoff, Anne Denis, Victor Robert, Xavier Desmoulins and Valery Zeitoun. And French actresses Julie Judd and Pom Klementieff chatted with designer Chantal Thomass.
With Maison Prunier caviar, and Wiborova Exquisite vodka to replace the energy consumed by dancing to the 60’s stylings played by DJ Cedric Couvezand, it’s clear a good time was had by all.
