Earlier this year Zenos Cars, formed by former Caterham Cars CEO Ansar Ali and COO Mark Edwards, unveiled the lightweight E10.
The E10 is a serious road legal, track-focused, open-top, two seater, powered by a mid-mounted Ford-sourced 200bhp engine linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional six-speed manual.
Now Zenos Cars has unveiled a more powerful E10 S with extra 50bhp linked to a standard five-speed manual, from the same mid-mounted 2.0-litre EcoBoost.
0-60mph is down by 0.5 seconds at just 4.0 seconds, while the top speed is 135mph. That’s all possible thanks to a very low weight of just 700kg.
All this rides on 16-inch wheels at the front & 17-inch OZ alloy wheels at the rear fitted with Avon Tyres. Braking power comes from 85mm front & rear disc brakes.
The E10 S is priced from £29,995 that is £5,000 more than the standard E10.
There is also a track variant with a limited sip differential, six-speed gearbox, composite seats, quick-release steering wheel, unique wheels, four-point racing harness, adjustable dampers and a heated driver’s seat. The track variant is priced at £32,995.
Zenos Cars plans to extend its model lineup with the E11 roadster in 2016 and E12 coupe in 2018.
