Toyota Teases FT-86 II Concept For Geneva Motor Show

Toyota first presented the FT-86 concept at the 2009 Tokyo motor show. The 2011 Geneva motor show in March will see the new evolution of the FT-86 Concept. The FT-86 II concept will preview the final design of Toyota’s next sports car, that obviously brings back memories of the Supras and Celicas.

The FT-86 is developed jointly by Toyota and Subaru, which will have its own version of the FT-86. Rumor is that Subaru’s version will use a turbocharged 2.0-litre with 260bhp and will be available only in rear-wheel drive configuration.

The production version is expected to debut in November either at the Los Angeles Auto Show or Tokyo Motor Show.
