Toyota GT86 With Aero Kit Testing In Europe

Toyota GT86 is now on sale, priced at £24,995 with the six-speed manual or £26,495 for the six-speed automatic. First deliveries begin next week. Power comes from a 197bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer engine. The engine sits at the front and power is sent to to rear tyres. A good sporty combination!

Toyota engineers are currently testing an aero kit for the GT86 in Europe, that includes a new front bumper, a big rear spoiler, rear bumper skirt and side sills. This new aggressively designed aero kit will be available as a factory option and makes the GT86 much sportier, while reducing drag and increasing downforce.

This new aggressive aero kit of course raises a question will we also see optional changes under the skin? Different sources claim that a turbocharged version of the GT86 is also planned with around 300bhp. This new look combined with 300bhp sounds pretty good.
