Top Gear Season 19 - Pagani Huayra Sets a New Top Gear Track Record

Top Gear season 19, Episode 1 just aired last night.

Hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May took an incredible American road trip through Las Vegas and Los Angeles including a race against fighter planes before ending with a hair-raising run to the Mexican border. In the reasonably priced car was Damian Lewis.

Jeremy Clarkson also tried to create a new hybrid Microcar, James tests the Bentley Continental GT, while Richard drove the new 730bhp Pagani Huayra hypercar before handing it over to The Stig, who lapped the Top Gear test track in just 1:13.8 – beating the old record of 1:15.1, which was set by Ariel Atom V8 500.
