We have seen the Porsche 918 Spyder in spy shots and official prototype images.
Porsche has posted the above picture from Monterey Motor Week on Twitter calling it the latest pre-production version.
We don’t see any visual updates, except the exterior, which has a silver paint. There are likely some updates to the suspension, brakes and powertrain, but no official word on it.
The 918 Spyder uses a 887 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a mid-mounted 4.6-litre V8 delivering 608 hp and a hybrid module on rear axle producing 115 kW and electric motor on front axle another 95 kW.
0-62 mph comes in 2.8 seconds, 0-186 mph in 23.0 seconds and the top speed is 211 mph (93 mph in purely EV mode with a range up to 18 miles).
Porsche also confirmed the production version will be unveiled next month at Frankfurt Motor Show.
