The Jaguar XKR-S Review

One of the most exciting Jaguar cars is the XKR-S, it’s fast and driver focused . The XKR-S will be priced around the £100,000 mark and will have an incredible 542 bhp, along with many new or updated features from the XKR.

Little features such as a fresh nose, twin air scoops, deeper spoiler, wider wheel arches, improves the car so much more.

The serious stuff:
0 > 60 in 4.2 seconds
0 > 100 in 8.7 seconds
Top Speed 186mph

The Jaguar XKR-S, can in theory out speed the Maserati Gran Turiso, Bentley Continental, Aston Martin DBS. This just outlines the potential and excitement that this car has. Not forgetting the fact that it is close to beating the Ferrari and Lamborghini super cars.
What Is It Like To Drive?

Sitting into a luxurious sports seat, is just the start of a wonderful ride, lovely headrests and side bolsters make it a comfy ride. Then turning on the ignition is an adrenaline rush, the V8, roars into life and will speed away.

A six speed automatic gearbox, is in operation, making gear changing, smooth and easy, whilst the suspensions, which have been made even lower are still unfortunately a cause for concern.

Potential
According to Mike Cross, chief chassis engineer, the car can complete the Nurburgring in less than eight minutes: “This is a car that will transport you to the Nürburgring and then complete
a sub-eight-minute lap,”

Is it Worth The Money?
That is debatable, I think it is down to personal opinion, I would honestly, hand on heart, love to drive a machine like this, but in the real world I have to settle for what I have got. If I had the money, of course I would.
