"The Best" commercial highlights F1 technology in the Mercedes S500 Plug-in Hybrid [video]

Mercedes has released a new promo video, highlighting the F1 technology in the new S500 Plug-in Hybrid.

Titled “The Best,” the video shows company’s fuel efficient powertrains in Formula One cars and also focuses on the new S500 Plug-in Hybrid that combines a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine and an electric motor for a combined output 435bhp and 479 lb-ft of torque.

0-62mph takes 5.2 seconds that is very impressive for a big luxury saloon, while the fuel economy is even more impressive as the average fuel economy is 100.8 mpg. The S500 Plug-in Hybrid also has a purely electric range up to 20.5 miles.

In this short clip we can also see Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, who both think they are the best.
