Saleen Automotive announced their electric car project last year, confirming in late January that the mystery model is based on the Tesla Model S.
We love the Model S and if someone can make it even more attractive and unique, then we are listening.
Saleen Automotive has now released first design sketches of their version of the Tesla Model S with an orange exterior paint and a more aggressive body kit.
The carbon fibre body kit includes a new rear diffuser and decklid trim, as well as new front air vents, carbon ceramic brakes and new Saleen alloy wheels.
The interior is nicely updated with two-tone leather and Alcantara, along with Saleen’s red logo embroidered on the headrests.
The range topping P85 Model S packs 416bhp, taking it from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 130mph.
Saleen will also tweak the mechanics of the Model S, but what exactly is not known yet. Obviously you can’t slam a big supercharger on an electric motor.
The first Saleen Model S will hit the streets this summer.
