Team Lotus Buys Caterham Cars, Celebrates With Special Edition Seven

Team Lotus Enterprise has acquired British sports car maker Caterham Cars, that will keep its current managing director Ansar Ali.

The acquisition of Caterham Cars by Team Lotus Enterprise will not only signal the continued development of the legendary Seven, but will provide Caterham with the platform to apply its philosophy of ‘adding lightness’ to exciting new models for the 21st Century.

To celebrate the acquisition, Caterham Cars will launch a special edition Seven, that is limited to 50 examples – 25 for the UK and 25 for the rest of the world.
