Surf's Up! Peugeot to display GTi surfboard concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Peugeot is not what you would call an interesting car company, Jalopnik recently named it as one of the most boring car companies.

Looks like Peugeot is trying hard to be cool.

Peugeot design lab has released images of a GTi surfboard concept that will debut next month at the Goodwood festival of Speed, along with the Onyx supercar concept.

The Peugeot Design Lab Surfboard Concept uses traditional wood and the latest carbon fibre technology. Carbon fibre quad fins are fluidly placed along the edge of the scalped tail to give a responsive, exhilarating and agile ride quality.

Looks interesting, but we would really love to see something practical, cool and production approved from Peugeot.

Peugeot Design Lab points out that they have 200 years of industrial experience and 120 years of automotive know-how available to outside clients.
