Stolen Jaguar XK-E gets returned to its rightful owner after 46 years [video]

This is an amazing story. Back in 1968, Ivan Schneider’s white Jaguar XK-E was stolen right in front of his apartment in Manhattan.

Chneider, 82, a former lawyer had paid $5,000 for the XK-E in 1967 with money from a big case that he won.

He never heard from the Police until very recently when his old love was returned to him after a long 46 years, since it was stolen.

The car was found last month during an inspection of a cargo leaving the Port of Los Angeles, where the officials also discovered a 1976 Mercedes-Benz 280, a 2007 Mercedes-Benz E350 and a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

Chneider’s Jaguar is not in top condition currently and worth around $23,600, but he is planning a full restoration as a Christmas gift. When the car was stolen he had 6,000 miles on it, now the odometer reads 28,000 miles.
