SsangYong e-XIV Concept Debuts in Paris

SsangYong is showing a new futuristic concept at the Paris Motor Show, called the e-XIV (electric – eXciting user Interface Vehicle).

The e-XIV features company’s latest design language to create future products that embrace its development philosophy of Robust, Specialty, Premium.

Motivation comes from a 80kw Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor and a 16kWh lithium-ion battery that is goof for a range of 50 miles.

The car also features a two-cylinder 1,0-litre petrol engine and a 20-kW generator, that charges the battery extending the range up to 370 miles.

The e-XIV glass roof features integrated 12 solar cell panel for generating solar power to operate the car’s auxiliary systems.
