Citroen DS3 is getting a bigger brother soon. Next in line in the DS family is the DS5, that was spotted earlier today cold weather testing in Northern Sweden.
The DS5 looks about the same size as Peugeot 3008 and is said to be a mixture between wagon, van and saloon. The DS5 will be powered by a range of petrol and diesel units, including a diesel hybrid called Hybrid4, that will also be offered in the Peugeot 3008.
The Hybrid4 system combines a 163 bhp 2.0 litre HDi FAP with a 37 bhp electric motor for a total output of 200bhp. Two engines car work separately or simultaneously providing permanent four-wheel drive.
Citroen will very likely show us a production ready concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March, with the production car being revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
