Spy Shots: 2012 Porsche 911 Winter Testing In Sweden

Earlier today we brought you spy photos of the next-generation Porsche 911 Convertible with very little disguise.

Here we have the next-generation 911 Coupe photos, with a similar disguise on lights and front bumper. The next 911(internally known as 991) is quite different compared to the current 997 because of new proportions. New 911 is 56mm longer and the roof line is 11mm lower compared to the current model.

The base model will get a new 345bhp 3.4-litre Boxer engine(down from a 3.6-litre unit), that reduces fuel economy by 13 percent compared to the current engine. 0-62mph comes in 4.8 seconds and the top speed is 180mph.

World debut of the new Porsche 91 is at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Performance variants like Turbo, GT2, GT3, (RS models).. etc will follow later.
