2012 BMW M6 ConvertibleBMW unveiled the new 6 Series Convertible last November. The coupe version will follow soon, and after that it’s time for the high-performance M6, that will be available both as a coupe and a convertible.

The M6 Convertible pictured here, was spotted in Sweden yesterday and reveals us big brakes behind the larger wheels and M-signature quad-exhaust pipes out back.

The M6 will use the same twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 that will debut in the new M5 concept in April at the Auto Shanghai Show. This engine is expected to produce around up to 600bhp, meaning the luxury convertible will accelerate from 0-60mph in less than 4.5 seconds.
