Kia is launching its new K5 Series this year, and to promote the Optima successor has launched a promo video emphasizing the importance of the concept of the Design 2.0, which is all about being more than the basic idea of an automobile, putting the consumer as main actor of his choices, making the driver the main actor of his/her life and its value.

Details about the K5 Series are limited, but the new model is expected to debut in April at the New York Auto Show with a sharper design, improved interior quality and new engine choices that also include a plug-in hybrid model later.

This new model is going to be very important for Kia and its design will influence other upcoming new models like the next generation K7/Cadenza, which is scheduled to arrive in 2016.

Coming back to the new promo video it is not much about actual vehicles shown there, but the function of a role player that can make our lives richer and more precious by going to a destination.

The father and son theme works perfectly with me as my son will turn six in March and we have already gone camping couple of times, summer trips to our country house, fishing, late night sunsets and much more. I believe it is a very touching subject to many fathers and also sons, who one day will also play this role their fathers.

The Re:Design video show how creating opportunities for fathers and sons allows them to get closer to rediscovering the true happiness of sharing moments. After all as we all know all we truly have is this moment Why not make it special with the loved ones.
