Skoda VisionC concept teased for Geneva debut, previews a future production model

Skoda has come a long way since it became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group in 2000. Last year over one million cars were delivered globally and to further expand the growth the model range is continuously growing.

Skoda has released a design sketch for the VisionC concept ahead of its debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

The VisionC concept is essentially a five-door coupe variant of the Octavia liftback, with a sharper design and a sloping roofline.

The VisionC has a hatch type of rear like the Audi A5 Sportback, not a regular trunk as the Volkswagen CC.

The production model is expected to debut in late 2014 or in early 2015.
