Skoda VisionC concept previews new design language and company's first five-door coupe

Skoda is growing fast, continuously expanding their model line-up.

This here is Skoda VisionC concept, a new five-door coupe introducing the next evolutionary step in Skoda design, making its public debut next week at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new design is according to Skoda more expressive, dynamic and emotional and underpins the dawn of the brand.

The bold chromed grille, sharper lines, triangular lamps will be seen most likely very soon on future Skoda models.

The concept rides on the same MQB platform as the Octavia range with power coming from a 108bhp 1.4-litre TSI 4-cylinder turbo engine, that can also run on compressed natural gas (CNG), consuming then just 3.4 kg /km (equivalent to 72mpg) and has CO2 emissions of 91 g/km.

The production model is expected to join Skoda’s line-up in 2016.
