Sebastian Thrun Talks About Google's Driverless Car At TED [VIDEO]

Sebastian Thrun is the director of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab and the man who helped build Google’s driverless car.

The video below shows the DARPA Challenge-winning car motoring through busy city traffic, highways, with no one behind the wheel. The dramatic test drive footage from TED 2011 demonstrates how fast the thing can really go. What he has already done is VERY impressive, and hopefully this technology is soon part of our lives!
