Saab 9-3 Facelift Revealed, Refreshed Styling And New Engines

Saab is giving the 9-3 its final facelift, after its introduction 9 years go. The 9-3 facelift is distinguished by new front bumpers and headlights. Inside, the instrument panel and leather upholstery has been given a fresh look. The Aero interior features a graphite fibre-effect for all these items, including the fascia.

IN UK, two specifications are offered: SE and Aero. Under the bonnet, new 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engines produce 163bhp and 220bhp.These new petrol engines join the current 1.9 litre TTiD twin turbo diesel range(130, 160, 180bhp).

Saab is also celebrating year of independence with the launch of limited edition 9-3 Independence Edition Cabriolet. Just 366 examples will be produced with unique colour and interior trim features. The 9-3 Independence Edition Cabriolet will be available with 1.9 litre TTiD 180bhp engine and six-speed automatic transmission.
