Road trip across the Alps in a Ferrari F40 [VIDEO]

Before the LaLerrari hybrid, Enzo and F50, Ferrari had the F40. Introduced in 1987, the F40 was the World’s first 200mph road car.

The F40 is powered by a 471bhp 2.9-litre twin-turbo V8 and it produces one of the greatest supercar sounds ever.

Evo magazine recently had the opportunity to drive the F40 across the Alps, as the supercar owner needed to get his car back across the mountains. Fair enough. With keys to the F40, Henry Catchpole takes us on an epic road trip in this already classic supercar. He gives us a good talk on how it was, showing also some shaky GoPro footage, along with Dean Smith’s photography.
