Road-legal Sin R1 debuts at Autosport International

Sin Cars has unveiled the road-legal variant of the Sin R1.

Riding on a tubular spaceframe chassis, the production-ready model features a carbon fibre bonnet, front splitter, rear wing, side skirts and roof. There is also an F1-style fuel tank.

Power comes from a General Motors-sourced 518bhp 6.2-litre V8 linked to a six-speed manual gearbox, taking the lightweight sports car from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds while the top speed is 200mph.

Hiding behind 19-inch alloys are AP Racing 362mm disc brakes.

Prices for the Sin R1 start from £60,000.

It is good to see another small automaker enter the sports car segment and we can only wish them success and continuous development.
