Back in July, Afzal Kahn and Ant Anstead previewed a retro-styled Barchetta.
Last week the at the Goodwood Revival, Evanta Motors unveiled the production ready Barhetta roadster with a sleek and low profile inspired by the design language of 1950s motorsport. The overall look does remind us the Jaguar D-Type, which is a good thing.
The low profile and the low windshield make it very sporty and with modern tech it will be a fun car to drive during the summer.
The Barchetta will be hand-built in UK with the production limited to just 148 units. Both left- and right-hand drive variants will be offered.
Under the bonnet is a 450bhp 6.2-litre V8 linked to either 5 or 6 speed manual. An automatic is also available. The engine can be supercharged also raising output to an impressive 780bhp. Not bad for a car weighing under 1,000kg.
The kevlar-bodied version is priced at £125,000 while the aluminium version starts from £165,000.
