Report: Porsche 911 Safari off-road concept to debut at Beijing Motor Show

Porsche currently has two SUVs with pretty good off-road capabilities. The first one is Cayenne, which is already in its second generation and will soon receive a mid-life facelift and the second one is the all-new Macan.

According to Autobild, Porsche has another very interesting model in works that feels at home on poor road condition. This new model is called 911 Safari off-road concept and if German media is correct it will debut already in April at the Beijing Motor Show.

Very likely the new model is based on the 400bhp 911 Carrera 4S and comes with raised suspension, underbody cladding, bigger tyres and few exterior updates to distinguish it from the standard model.

If the feedback is positive, then the production model could arrive already in 2016. We have a feeling this car would sell quite well in South America, China, Middle East and Russia.
