Radical RXC - a Mustang V6 powered racer legal for the road [video]

Radical is well known for their open-cockpit race cars and road cars for years.

Last year the company unveiled the street-legal RXC coupe with a range of engines. The base model uses a 350bhp 3.7-litre V6 from Ford Mustang linked to a seven-speed sequential gearbox. Same engine with 380bhp is also available, along with a 454bhp Ford EcoBoost 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6, while the range topping model uses a 500bhp V8.

As the car weighs just around 900kg, even the base model with 350bhp is plenty of fun. Last year XCar took a closer look at the RXC and visited also the factory.

XCar is now back with another interesting review to see how this racer handles public roads. The red car in the video is the standard RXC with a 350bhp Mustang V6.
