will enter production later this year. Based on the same platform as Audi Q5, the Macan will be offered with a wide range of diesel and petrol engines with entry level model using a 4-cylinder engine that has not been used in a Porsche for well over a decade.
As with the bigger Cayenne, the hot Turbo and Turbo S are also planned.
The Macan Turbo pictured here shows the trademark double exhausts and more camouflage than previous prototypes hiding a more aggressive look.
Engine details are very limited. Standard Macan Turbo is expected to use a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 with around 370-400 hp. Hot Macan Turbo S model will probably have then around 420 hp.
The Macan will make its world debut most likely either at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September or in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
