Porsche has released the first teaser video and images of the all-new compact Macan, which is based on the same platform as Audi Q5 and follows a similar design language as its bigger brother Cayenne with a more sloping roof line.
Porsche describes the Macan as a “compact, concentrated and intensive sports car that is practical but never ordinary with a sharply contoured side profile with a sporty sloping roof line.” The teaser also reveals very interesting quad LEDs.
The Macan will debut next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show with a wide range of petrol and diesel units. A hybrid is also expected.
The range topping model will reportedly use a 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6 with around 400bhp.
The production will start already in December at the Leipzig plant in Germany.
