Porsche Macan previewed in official pictures

Porsche has released new images of the 2014 Macan on their Facebook page ahead of Los Angeles Motor Show debut next month.

The Macan which rides on the same platform as the Audi Q5 is quite similar to the bigger Cayenne, featuring a more sloping roofline. We also get to see an aggressive front fascia, LED-infused headlights and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.

The prototypes pictured here have very little disguise around the headlights, hiding the final details.

The Macan will be offered with a wide range of engines connected to manual and PDK transmissions with power sent to all-wheel drive system.

Range topping Macan Turbo is likely to use a 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6 with around 400bhp.

The production will start already in December with first cars arriving at dealerships soon after.
