Porsche Cayman Safari digitally imagined - looks ready for the road

Last year German Autobild reported Porsche will introduce a 911 Safari off-road concept in April at the Beijing Motor Show. Well April is safely behind us and as we all know there were no hot 911 concept for off-roading.

It is not the first time that major publishers “report” something that never happens. Yes it still could happen, but is quite unlikely – at least in the near future.

What if Porsche introduced a rugged looking, higher clearance Porsche Cayman with four-wheel drive?

Car designer X-Tomi Design from Hungary has envisioned a Cayman Safari wit raised suspension, all-wheel-drive, beefier tyres, underbody protection and plastic body mouldings.

The result is very good and it would be a blast to see something like this in production.

Unfortunately the chances seeing anything like this in production are close to zero and the next Cayman model we will see is the hot GT4 model.
