Porsche 911 Targa teased for Detroit debut [video]

Porsche has released a video teaser for the upcoming 911 Targa, that will debut already next week at the Detroit Auto Show.

The short video clip shows us… well it shows us nothing really. You get to see the Calatrava building in VALENCIA and its huge glass roof.

However Porsche did mention the new 911 Targa will echo the design of the original 911 Targa of 1965, featuring the distinctive Targa bar, a movable centre roof section and a wrap-around rear window combined with innovative technical solutions.

The 911 Targa is powered by a 3.4-litre six-cylinder with 350bhp and 288 lb-ft of torque and a more powerful Targa S using a 3.8-litre six-cylinder with 400bhp and 324 lb-ft of torque.

The all-wheel drive 911 Targa and 911 Targa 4S are likely to follow later.
