Porsche is brining an upgraded 911 GT3 R Hybrid called the Version 2.0 to the 24 hours of Nürburgring. Sounds like a software update almost!

The flat-six engine powers the rear wheels, while the electric motors motivate the front wheels. Basically the pilots have almost an additional 200 hp at their disposal with the 911 GT3 R Hybrid 2.0. that can automatically activated through use of the throttle pedal. Moreover, pilots can manually call up this extra power, for instance when overtaking.
The new model weighs 1,300kg, which is 50kg less than the previous car.Tags: 2.0, Nürburgring, Porsche, Porsche 911, Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid
