Porsche 911 Carrera S vs Carrera 4S [video]

It is fun to play with Porsche 911 online configurator. One of the first questions people ask is should I go with rear-wheel drive model all all-wheel drive.

All-wheel drive model is a bit heavier, also more expensive and some people think it is not as suitable for track days as the rear-wheel drive model.

Evo has taken the rear-wheel drive 911 Carrera S and all-wheel drive 911 Carrera 4S to see how these two cars compare.

The Carrera S is fitted with PDK transmission, a sports suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes, while the all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4S comes with seven-speed manual, standard brakes and suspension.

Both models come with the Power Kit, which raises the power from 400 horsepower to 430 horsepower.

As it is a rainy day, the 4S clearly has an advantage. Hit play to see, which one is faster on the track.
