Peugeot 208 XY Revealed Ahead Of Paris Debut

In addition to revealing the 208 GTi, Peugeot has also revealed the 208 XY ahead of Paris Motor Show.

Peugeot calls the 208 XY, the most luxurious 208, that is basically a premium version of the 208 with focus on luxury and themed colours.

Main exterior updates include plenty of chrome that can be found on mirror caps, front grille, fog lamp surrounds, window trim and rear apron trim. There are also new 17-inch diamond-Anthra Mercure multi-spoke wheels, while the touches of gloss black on quarter panel trim and centre pillar complete the look.

Inside, the cabin is finished in fine leather with contrasting stitching, touches of Alcantara, bespoke mats and aluminum pedals.

The 208 XY is available with the following engines:

1.6-litre diesel e-HDi 92 FAP, 5-speed manual gearbox, CO2 at 98g/km
1.6-litre diesel e-HDi 92 FAP, 6-speed EGC gearbox, CO2 at 98g/km
1.6-litre diesel e-HDi 115 FAP, 6-speed manual gearbox, CO2 at 99g/km
1.6-litre petrol VTi 120, 5-speed manual gearbox, CO2 at 134g/km
1.6-litre petrol THP 156, 6-speed manual gearbox, CO2 at 135g/km
