Peugeot 208 T16 starts testing at Pikes Peak [video]

End of May, the Peugeot 208 T16 for Pikes Peak performed a “dress rehearsal” at Mont Ventoux before this month’s Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado.

The team is now finally in Colorado preparing for the extreme race on 30th June and here is the video showing Sébastien Loeb and his Red Bull sponsored Peugeot 208 T16 race car in action.

Peugeot is back at Pikes Peak after 14 years and of course plans are big. The highly modified Peugeot 208 T16 will compete in the Unlimited class and packs an impressive 875 horsepower from a twin-turbo 3.2-litre V6 with power sent to all four wheels. Weighing just 875 kg it does 0-62 mph in just 1.8 seconds.
