Peugeot 2008 Crossover Spied Testing In Spain

Peugeot 2008 is an all new small SUV being jointly developed by Peugeot and sister brand Citroën. Based on the 208 platform, it will go against Nissan Juke, Toyota RAV4, Opel Mokka and other small SUVs.

The 2008 will slot just beneath the 3008 crossover and is expected to make its debut next month at the Paris Motor Show.

Engine options are expected to carryover from the new 208.

    Are we sure this is based on the ASX platform? The wheelbase and 4-stud wheel hubs suggest its 208 based as expected. Also Peugeot already has an ASX based car (4008)

    • Not 100% as there is no official word yet. We believe that the 208 platform is being used, though we don’t rule out other rumours that suggest it is based on the new ASX.
