One-off Ferrari F12 'TRS' with KERS is most likely the most expensive production Ferrari ever

Ferrari is known for building special one-off cars for selected customers.

The latest model from Ferrari’s special custom operations is based on the F12 Berlinetta and is called F12 TRS. The car has an open-top targa roof and a more aggressive body, along with a unique front and rear end.

As usually with such cars details are limited, but according to supercarkids and jalopnik, this one-off supercar, commissioned by an unknown wealthy customer cost 4.2M USD (£2.47M) which means the owner could have bought roughly 3 brand new LaFerrari supercars.

The model also comes with an F1-inspired KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), offering for short periods of times extra boost in addition to the 6.2-litre V12 engine with 740 hp.

The name has not been confirmed officially, but as Ferrari recently trademarked the ‘F12 TRS’ symbol at home in Italy it is safe to assume this is the name for the car you see in the gallery below.
