One-off custom Nissan Project Titan revealed for Alaskan adventure

Nissan has unveiled one-of-a-kind crowd-sourced 2014 Nissan Titan dubbed Project Titan.

The fans were able to vote on 10 different areas and here is the ruggedly tailored Project Titan, which will be piloted by two Iraqi war veterans and Wounded Warrior Project Alumni on the rigorous Alaskan wilderness in an adventure that can be followed on Nissan Trucks Facebook page. Also YouTube series will be launched his autumn.

The Project Titan is distinguished from the standard model with rugged front bumper, a recovery winch, a digital camouflage inspired “Recon Titan” wrap and auxiliary LED lights.

All this rides on 18-inch Fuel Revolver D525 wheels wrapped with 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tyres.

For all the cargo and sleeping, there is also a matching custom all-terrain trailer with a camp-style kitchen, a tent and water/fuel storage.

Power comes from a 5.6-litre V8 engine fitted with NISMO cold-air intake and a Borla cat-back exhaust system.
