One-off 420bhp BMW M3 Pickup Revealed

Intended as an April fools prank, this M3 Pickup is more than a prank – it’s an actual car. The M3 pickup will be used as a transport vehicle for the M division.

Under the bonnet is the same 420bhp 4.0 litre V8 as in the saloon, coupe and convertible variant of the M3. Load capacity is up to 450 kg, and it weighs around 50kg less than the M3 Convertible, removable targa roof shaves off another 20 kg.

The BMW M3 pickup was recently also testing on the North Loop of the Nürburgring, where it reached a top speed of 186mph.
