McLaren P1 hypercar is one of the fastest car currently in production and all 375 units were sold out very was after its unveiling. The P1 is soon getting also a track-only edition that will be available only to clients who have ordered one of the 375 road legal versions.
Details are limited, but the track-only P1 will be the company’s most powerful car yet and also be its rarest. Most likely just a few dozen cars will be made. In addition to being the rarest it will be also likely the most expensive, topping the magical £1M mark.
In additon, McLaren also confirmed that its next all-new sportscar, codenamed P13, will be available before the end of 2015 with a lower price-point. Possible public debut is at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The P13 will be again a mid-engined two seater, built around a carbon fibre chassis. More than one derivative will be offered. Coupe and Spider for sure, though there are also rumours about a third body variant with a rear luggage area.
