Official: BMW X4 Concept revealed

Following yesterday morning’s leak, BMW has officially unveiled the X4 concept ahead of Shanghai Motor Show.

The X4 Concept is similar to its bigger brother X6 with a coupe like crossover design that BMW calls a Sports Activity Coupe.

This new SAV will roll off the production line already next year and is expected to be very similar, almost identical to the concept pictured here.

The X4 Concept is 4,648mm in length, a width of 1,915mm in width and has a height of 1,622mm. The wheelbase mesures 2,810mm and it rides on 21-inch alloys.

The X4 will debut in concept form later this month in Shanghai, while the production model is expected to debut later this year likely in Frankfurt. No engine details were released, but as we mentioned yesterday there will be a wide range of petrol and diesel units, likely carried over from the X3.
